“I have deployed the 26 Steps® approaches in a number of different businesses, and found it to be a cost-effective, practical and sustainable programme”

Global Aerospace Manufacturing COO

I have deployed the 26 Steps® toolkits in a number of different businesses and found it to be a cost-effective, practical and sustainable programme which delivers value in real-time as employees (both learners and coaches) develop a renewed curiosity for establishing control, and becoming effective and driving improvement. The approach is preferred over classroom-based training, as its relevance to the learner is both immediately obvious, and it becomes part of the working day, creating a continuous “review and adjust” coaching environment.

As the Director of Operations for Civil Large Engines at Rolls-Royce, we worked to tailor the 26 Steps® programme for our Production Leaders so it was relevant to our journey of building a foundation of control to “tackle the worst problems” and evolving through to “being better than the rest” and “redefining expectations”.

The programme has demonstrated that it can be effective in “calibrating” both new and existing team members to higher, sustained levels of performance simultaneously, and in developing better coaches, even within a relatively experienced line manager population. The flexibility of the programme always gives the organisation control on the speed of progress, to ensure that key learning points are not over-looked, but instead are reinforced as the team is given permission to stand back and reflect.

Typically, the programme returns on investment multiple times, and repeatedly over the course of the programme, both in terms of being the catalyst for running bespoke “Lean” improvement projects, as well as creating engagement and drawing out untapped potential from the “engine room” of the organisation.

26 Steps® consultants have demonstrated expertise, flexibility and professionalism time and time again in this field, and are extremely collaborative in building a programme that suits the organisation’s needs to give the whole programme an authoritative but “homegrown” feel. The flexibility of the programme means that the 26 Steps® approach is easy to replicate and deploy across a multi-site global footprint.

26 Steps® is distributed in the UK and Internationally.
